  Another image of 4th of July Lake.  This is as high up as the trail gets. It's a pass, then starts heading back down toward Washington Lake.   Another picture of the pond at the pass.   We must have passed this clump of fungus about 3-4 times during our trips to/from camp. It became a landmark of sorts, so I had to take a picture of it!  Stephen crossing a small snow field on the way to our camp. Lake Washington in the background.
