  We spent the night at an altitude higher than the highest point in Idaho, and only 40 feet lower than the highest point in Montana. Wow.  Mayela descending toward Buckskin Pass after breaking camp.   I *love* this picture!   Some cool folks we met at the pass, and again toward the bottom of the trail. She was deaf, and they both had lived in Idaho for a time. Cool folks.  Next morning: on the way up Mt. Elbert.
