  Mountain goats, getting ... salt ... out of the dirt. ;) The were close enough I could have touched them.  Sunrise, with the valley filled with clouds.   Better image of the cloud-filled world beyond the mountains.   (1 of 4) On the side of Tempest, enroute to Granite. This cloud-filled valley is where we've camped on previous trips. Avalache and Snowball lakes are down there.  (2 of 4) The ridge leading up to Granite Peak. The famed "Finger of God" tower is just barely being hit by the sun.
