You can see the Spires, Villard Peak, and the route we came from Aero lakes back in 1998.  Picture of Avalance lake from near the summit   Picture along the ridge toward Snowball lakes   This is where I came on my first summit of Granite, back in 2001. Around the lake, then up the snowfield to the saddle. The drop below is incredible ... about 1800 feet down to the snow which is visible between the rocks.  Avalance lake, with the Snowball lakes in the background. This is where we've camped on two other trips into this area.
