  Freaked me out -- coming across bear tracks in thigh-deep snow.  Picture as I headed up the ridge, which was the only place not saturated w/snow.   Looking down into the valley where I'd come up.   Another view down into the valley. Lots of snow where I'd come from.  Some type of turkey-sized bird.
