This one went about 25-30 feet straight down, with moss and ferns growing toward the bottom.

We could also see our breath down at the bottom. Even though it was ~90 degrees up top, it was around 40 at the bottom. It felt awesome - like climbing into a refrigerator.

The rocks are *extremely* sharp - any touch would pretty much draw blood. So we had to move very slowly and deliberately.
