  Mayela with some early-changing trees, about 1/2 mile from the trailhead. Just before the climbing really starts.   Jerome, Brandon, and Mayela on the ridge above the treeline.   Mayela hitting the *one* downhill spot on the ridge. For about 150 feet.  Paul and Brandon in the shelters we built when we spent the night on the side of the mountain back in March 1999. They're still there!
