  Here the ground is completely barren, still covered in ash. The rocks are scorched black, and nothing is alive.  I thought this was cool, with the dead/black and the green behind it. This is the "middle" pond just west of the upper lake.   I just love this perspective, especially the twisted tree.   Another fun picture. I like how it turned out.  This picture is just really cool, with the halo behind the burned tree, and the lines from the leaning snag pointing to it.
