August 2007: Scorched Earth (Trail Creek Lakes)

  This dragonfly kept buzzing around for about 3 minutes, but the best I could get was this blurred shot.  Coming over the ridge above Lake Yoshi.   Mount Regan, with Lake Yoshi below. My route was to climb to the base of Regan, then skirt along the top of the scree fields to the ridge (right), then follow it up to the summit.   This is the route I would take to climb toward Mount Regan's base (roughly where the shadows end).  A cool-looking cluster of wildflowers I stepped over on the way up the mountain.
