  The ground here is completely covered in ash, sometimes several inches thick and the consistency of fine flour.  Closeup of the charred and burnt ground.   Footprints left in the ash. Nothing growing here.   Life spinging out of the charred ground.  I like this picture too. Another cool life/death juxtaposition.
