  The charred remains of the old sign.  dsc07813   The trail junction is at least more clearly marked now. The charred remains of the old sign can be seen still bolted to the larger tree.   It's pretty amazing how even here, the fire skipped around, leaving some burned patches and others untouched.  A particularly tall burned tree.
