  Climbing some rocks about 3/4 mile from the start of the trail.  Some wildflowers near the rock, with a little sunlight making them glow.   I think this one captures the colors a bit better.   Another shot of the wildflowers. The red in them was amazing.  Skip a lot ... after the road was 100% snowed in (3.5 miles up), we started hiking straight uphill, until we came within sight of the lookout.
