  Ready to rumble. We are the only ones at the trailhead, other than some Forest Service day-hikers doing trail maintenance.  The trail immediately begins to descend into a true *rain forest*, with old-growth pine and cedar.    The huckleberries throughout the hike were *huge*!   A little stream where we filled our water bottles.
