  With the summit register. I'd just taken a gust of ice particles full in the face, so my eyes were squinted nearly shut. Visibility was about 50 feet in the thick cloud/fog, and everything was dripping wet, so getting down wasn't going to be particularly fun or easy.  360-degree view from Great Northern's summit. It was a white-out.   Back at 7900 feet, just below the cloud cover.   More of the eeevil clouds. These low-hangers came in around 7600-7700 feet. Not too often one gets this sort of perspective on a cloud, though.  Finally, the clouds are down to a few wisps, around 7400 feet. The ceiling is still around 8500 feet, though.
