At Edna Lake! We decided this was as far as our day hike would go.

So, we kicked back in the shade and had tuna for lunch. That's a feast after 3 days of ramen!

Heading back up the pass, this is another view of the Edna Lake basin, from about 8900'. The trail winds its way down into the valley, following the edge of the trees.
