  Looking back over where we've come thus far.  You can tell it's quite steep, and pretty loose stuff.   OK, here's the "Y" that we're headed to. Just a few minutes after this, it started raining and hailing on us, for about 20 minutes.   Stephen and I holed up in little crevices like this to escape the hail. It was cold, wet, and pretty miserable.  In some pretty hairy stuff, the last 150 feet or so before the summit.
