  OK, skip a *lot*. We're all the way back down into the valley now, crossing it fast because we're nearly out of daylight.  IMGP2470   One of the weirdest things I've seen ... water running underground, with all this erosion above it.   Looking back up at the snowfield we need to climb again, so we can get back to our valley.  Sunset. We were just getting to the top of the ridge when the sun went down. Thankfully we had the GPS with us, because we had to get back to camp in the dark (around 10:30pm).
