  Down a bit lower, at the far end of the mountain meadow. We're getting ready to really drop down.  Looking across a cool little meadow we found nestled here, just below the top of this ridge.   Starting the long drop into the river valley. The next pass we'll be taking (via the cut-off) is up in the distant mountains.   Mayela in the lowlands forest. We've dropped about a thousand feet from the last picture.  Cool little spring where we pumped some more water. This was on the "wall" of the Trail Rider cut-off.
