  Mark standing at the site where we decided to set up camp. This was at an alpine lake, just below 9800'.  View of Hyndman peak, and the lake, from our camp.   Looking toward the ridge & Old Hyndman from our camp.   Another view of camp, looking back into the valley where we came up.  Next morning, getting started. We decided to take the "scenic route" through the basin, aiming for the ridge between Hyndman and Old Hyndman.
