  Purple!  Purple, yellow, and red -- nice combination.   Hard to see, but these trees looked like a stock-tie area for the old miners.   View of the Hyndman Creek crossing, and the (barely visible) old mining trail which heads up to Big Basin.  View to the left of the last shot.
