  Near the trailhead, the forest shows signs of burning, but most of the trees are still healthy.  More patches of burned ground.   Now it gets a little crazier, about 3/4 mile in.   The remains of a large tree which was burned.  Interesting how the entire tree is scorched (and the ground immediately around it), but other stuff is still green.
