This dragonfly kept buzzing around for about 3 minutes, but the best I could get was this blurred shot.

Mount Regan, with Lake Yoshi below. My route was to climb to the base of Regan, then skirt along the top of the scree fields to the ridge (right), then follow it up to the summit.

This is the route I would take to climb toward Mount Regan's base (roughly where the shadows end).

Approaching the base of Mount Regan, here is a different angle on Lake Yoshi (and the side of the unnamed mountain we typically climb from the Trail Creek basin).

This was part of the scree field I was climbing. It was fairly steep and hard-packed, like trying to climb a sloped roof covered with ball bearings.

As I climbed above the surrounding ridges, the smoke from several nearby forest fires came into view.
