  Our tracks from sliding down the snowfield. Paul on left, Stephen on right.  Paul's face with strange blue marks that appeared overnight.   Stephen, taking large running steps down across the snowfield. 8-10 feet between steps was not uncommon.   Thompson Peak, viewed from the snowfield about 1/2 mile north.  Preparing for a rather steep and long slide down the snowfield.
