  I think this one captures the colors a bit better.  Another shot of the wildflowers. The red in them was amazing.   Skip a lot ... after the road was 100% snowed in (3.5 miles up), we started hiking straight uphill, until we came within sight of the lookout.   Mayela coming over the top of the ridge.  Here we are: Sunset Lookout, 7869 feet.
